Agreed. Unfortunately, I only had a whole wheat bagel left.

Who can hate Taylor Ham? I didn't think such a thing was possible. :-:^:-:

Of course when you leave NJ....

Grrrr :mad::mad:

I always underestimate South Florida traffic. What should have been a 20minute drive from the W to FLL took me almost an hour. Now I barely have time for a beer in the PC (wait, is it noon yet - OK I'm good :)) before my flight.

One of my favorite parts of the tuk-tuk (at least as a kid) was the strange, boomerang-shaped steering apparatus. :D I have a miniature toy replica brought home from BKK back in the day.

I'm happy to share the bits of knowledge I have. I rarely discover the crazy fares but I'm generally pretty good about figuring out how to use them. UA makes it easy, especially with ITA, as their routing rules are simply ridiculous. Other carriers are a bit harder.

Hooray! Shall we make plans?

Ironically, the only thing I've ever done was discover crazy fares - two of them - on, of all things, CO.

::looking at post count:: I guess I should make my next post a good one, huh? ;) Was thinking I might get there on 1/10 (my one-year FT anniversary) but I don't think I'll be waiting 2 more days now.

Sorry to hear - that's frustrating even when the pipes are fine.

Disaster averted.

About 1 foot in the underpinnings of the house there was a copper 90 up into the main supply, it was frozen up. I turned facet on inside, took a propane catalytic heater (camp heater) out, put it about 1.5 inches away (remember no open flame) and it heated it up enough to slowly melt it without busting in about 3-4 min.

Then I took the time to insulate that fitting so such won't happen again. ^

Getting out from under the house I did burn my arm on the heater, but a 3 inch burn is worth it for running water. It is nothing serious, about like touching a hot cookie sheet.

Well, time to leave Florida, where of course today it's finally in the 70s. Talk to you later from NJ, where thanks to the power of suggestion, I just might need to have a taylor ham sandwich for dinner tonight.

Ladies, Gentleman, and Distinguished ,

Over the past few minutes I have been working hard, pushing the boundaries of creative thought, traveling extensively between the toilet and my office, pouring my heart and soul into a special tribute documentary to the Box.

I humbly believe this is a fitting tribute to our special corner of the internet. One that has spawned much travel, even more beer consumption, shrubbery extractions, and even the occasional adoption of armadillos in Mendoza, Argentina (in the name of discounted Coors Light).

The Box has become an integral part of all our lives and has changed the way we view media. It has given a voice to the  and has been an agent of more.

It is with great pride that I unveil to you, my distinguished box brethern, my tribute documentary to our little corner of the world wide .

VIVA LA BOX. VIVA LA PWP. P:rolleyes:STY POST POST. :-:

*also available in Sweedish

:-:^:D^:D:-: with a  thrown in for good measure ;)

Well done!

I used to have one of those too; no idea where it is now. :(

@icurhere2, how many courses do you think FTE would let me take before actually becoming a working teacher? There is a residence workshop in HNL in October. :D

A. That looks a bit like Twitter-speak.
B. FTE is good for EOFT, EFL, and EFIAH without being an inservice teacher. The Environmental Econ course Is Not Possible. And the HNL workshop is usually open only to HI residents. I did manage to do EFIAH in LAS, though.

Why do people make non-refundable hotel reservations in Vegas months in advance? The savings cannot have been all that significant. And now there is a FHR BOGO deal at the Wynn/Encore but I'm stuck staying with a group at the Trump because these guys booked non-refundable. Same price for a crappier hotel. :td:
