Sure we do.

On ITA go to month-long search and put in JFK::LAX and LHR::LAX for the from/to pair. Pick 1-2 nights and start no later than late Feb (fare dies in early March). It'll come back with pretty much every weekend showing available. If you want a longer stay feel free. Click through to the details and you should see either a 6:30am, 8:30am or 11ish departure from JFK on the outbound connecting to a 1700ish LAX-LHR. Return is 10:30am and can make the 16:22 LAX-JFK if you want. You can probably overnight in LAX, too, as a connection as long as you take a morning flight home the following day.

Take your dates/flights on over to Orbitz (I know it is working; not sure about others) and switch to multi-city. Put in all 4 segments individually - JFK-LAX, LAX-LHR, LHR-LAX and LAX-JFK on the appropriate dates/times. Run the search, pick the flights and find some Ambien.

sbm12 you are the best! I have been trying for months to figure out that damn ita thing, and in one fell swoop you have helped!

That's because y'all are charitable and nice. I know that the "you'll be better off learning how to figure it out yourself" school has its merits, but it's still frustrating when you get that from people...

That was probably the most helpful, concise paragraph I have ever read in my history of trying to learn about this topic. THANKS! :-:

Now off to try and make it happen...

+1

I don't know. I didn't investigate the coat closets (didn't even know the DC-10s had those).

Yep, they were rather cool. The closet was located next to the galleys at doors 2L/R, and was maybe 30" wide or so. When the FA opened it up, there was a rod to hang coats on, but also a control panel. After the rod was full, they'd hit a button and that rod, with its garments, would lift up into the ceiling, and another empty closet rod would lift into position to be filled. I don't know how many closet rods this thing had, but it was designed to hang a lot of garments in a fairly small space. I'm sure it added all kinds of weight and complexity (just one more thing to break, and you know something like that was bound to break) to the design, but it was a pretty innovative feature on the DC-10 that took advantage of the space above the ceiling, similar to how the crew rest area on some 777s takes advantage of what would be empty space up there.

Over the past few minutes I have been working hard, pushing the boundaries of creative thought, traveling extensively between the toilet and my office, pouring my heart and soul into a special tribute documentary to the Box.

I humbly believe this is a fitting tribute to our special corner of the internet. One that has spawned much travel, even more beer consumption, shrubbery extractions, and even the occasional adoption of armadillos in Mendoza, Argentina (in the name of discounted Coors Light).

The Box has become an integral part of all our lives and has changed the way we view media. It has given a voice to the  and has been an agent of more.

It is with great pride that I unveil to you, my distinguished box brethern, my tribute documentary to our little corner of the world wide .

VIVA LA BOX. VIVA LA PWP. P:rolleyes:STY POST POST. :-:

This is a Lynchian master triumph. Better than farts in bed and chia ding combined.

Well, we haven't gotten into the fuel dump lessons yet. Those are much more complicated and involve many more strange code-words (harlem shuffle??) and it is somewhat harder to make work. But when it does work the benefit can be an additional $100-200 in savings. That can be next week's class. :)

I vote that sbm12 puts together an afternoon workshop on how to use ITA for mwg and myself. We will ply him with beer, wine, food, whatever he wants .....:D^:D^

Is that at AMS? We didn't make it in there on our flight home. Didn't have time.

Going on my MSP-GEG MR this weekend. Take my positioning flight to MSP tonight.

A good deal of my flights are on US. I've never flown either United or US before. Have a few tight connections. Hope nothing goes wrong.

Any suggestions for how to deal with irrops should they occur?

I suck at it.

In fact, I suck at pretty much everything to do with finding cheap trips. I have to rely on teh box to feed me info  :(:(:(

Yep. That's the Crown Lounge at AMS. I think I'll miss it until I can manage to get into BD's No. 1 Lounge at Heathrow.

Important asterisk for you: you are working with current bookings. There was a lag of a month or two between my booking that Christmas ticket and having status. I wonder if that handicapped me somehow.
