It was a summer internship designed for residential grad students, with no promise of future employment. I need to work full time. So, I can't quit my job, work for Boeing for 3 months and then have nothing.

He hasn't a clue. That's why Weis - a successful pro coordinator - could conceivably be on the list.

ND right now is the 55 year old woman who thinks she is 25. Totally unrealistic expectations. Turing down a bowl bid is just another nail in the ND coffin.

An open letter to the ND AD.

1. Stop expecting 12-0 or 11-1 seasons, they aint going to be happening for awhile.
2. Plan to have your next HC for awhile. If his agent is any good he should have a 5 year contract and a huge buy out clause.
3. Find a conference any conference. Try the Big East you will probably fit in there.
4. Stop scheduling power teams, the reason they schedule you is because they know they will win.

Number 3 isn't going to happen - they would then have to share the television revenue from NBC. Television revenue (and rich alums) make Number 2 moot.
