All I can say about the above items is "I'm sorry."

On the other hand, I can't talk. I am flying US Y next week and I paid good cash for that. And I've stooped pretty low on the FlightMemory map before.

OK, I am headed home. Spent the day planning a trip to NYC instead of work!! :)

Just booked the air travel for a conference a bunch of us attend in MCO in January (). My corporate travel website now gives me this information:

The Estimated Air footprint for this itinerary is 1794.06 lbs.

I'm not sure whether they are trying to make me feel guilty or not, but at least I feel a little warmer...

I look at it this way. If I will have to spend 50K for the ticket I might as well get some value you out of it like more flying, new lines, new aircraft. I mean it isn't like I am trying to shag up on a SAAB to some crazy small town in Texas like some people I know!! ;)

Just Kidding!! :p

Err, crackle, rrrrr

From the front, folks welcome to Houston, were here a little early and someone's at our gate.So for now we're going to sit over here for about 15 minutes, then we"ll get you up to gate B-69 for an on-time arrival

Just ate a yummy dinner. Now deciding which chocolate I want to have as dessert. Mr.Brit arrived home from the UK with a veritable treasure trove of choccie! Mmmmm! Mmmmm! Good!

I sent poor Mr.Brit on a mission this afternoon. I made him go to the American Girl Doll store in NYC on his way home from work :D:D I don't think he was amused when I sent him his task! I did explain that it would save us $35 in shipping fees if he could just hop off the E train at 5th and 53rd and toddle on down to 5th and 49th to pick up the doll .....:D

And how many hours did it take him to walk down 5th from 53rd to 49th? I will say it was nice and empty Thursday morning before 10:30 AM in the cold.

I'm feeling the need to take out a couple of my coworkers who apparently don't understand how to check in and check out a shared spreadsheet on Sharepoint, especially now that their improper handling of this document has totally screwed up my portion of it, and I'm having to spend my evening cleaning it all up.

This reminds me of the time I was working in HNL and meeting a flight. The DC-10 pulls into a UA gate and one that I have never been at before. This gate had only one jetway and that meant driving the jetway to Door 1-L. Or so I thought.....I got the jetway within 3 inches of the door and that was way too much gap so I called for help. The Ramp Supervisor answers my plea for assistance and tells me to try for Door 2-L. @:-)

Let's just say that the early arriving flight was now an on time arrival. And yes the FAs were laughing when they opened the door, as they had been watching my brilliant jetway driving that almost made it to the wrong door.
