A few of the major roads (e.g. "Atlantic" / "Pacific") have now been cleared - looks like they want some additional tourists to get in. I did the loop at Bally's and they had zero table games open.

You could always do the typical tourist bit and try to find all of the streets on the Monopoly board. Only one is not in Atlantic City proper.

Bally's is an infamously poor table game house. They have a 12-spot bus garage for a reason: the metric butt-tons of slot players that take direct buses to Bally's.

If you want tables, Borgata or Harrah's is the place to go; for poker: Borgata, Taj, Trop - in that order.

Two way too strong drinks and a trip to Friday's should be considered as an alternative colonoscopy prep procedure.

Tonight is more strip steak, wings, and stir-fry with noodles.

If and when you do, at least you'll be prepared. Since I'm never in Westwood, I haven't had the opportunity to go to the store in LA, much to my daughters' dismay. It is a racket, but at least the dolls and books can potentially teach girls about American history.

Actually, the AG store is in the Grove, which is a bit east of Westwood (where I live). Fittingly, there are a number of bars very close to the store! ^
