Another knee jerk reaction. I'm sure they will ban lighters and matches again. If you read any spy fictional novel or the internet, you can find ways of getting around all of this, if you really want to. Ma and Pa Kettle don't need any more problems in getting thru the check point.

Why do the do additional rescreening after the plane has landed but before the people go to customs? If they were going on another flight they would be rescreened again (after customs).

:eek::eek:

I have only really begun to be afraid of heights in the past few years. I had a small, normal-ish fear when I was younger (more of a healthy concern for my own mortality), but it certainly has increased over the years. I think it may quite well be vertigo or something, because I genuinely get light-headed and dizzy when I look over a balcony or climb a ladder, etc.

when I was younger, I did all sorts of high hikes (trekked to base camp for example) and it never really bothered me that much.

Very beautiful place.

I'm not afraid of water or heights, per say. I just don't trust amusement rides and bungee cords. Cluck, cluck, cluck.

I tend to agree with you on the amusement rides that travel from place to place. Last time I was on one all I could think of mid-ride, hurling through the air was "If that cotter pin lets go, I'm going to land somewhere in the next zip code."

Up in the air good movie, happy endings are overrated.

I shall be seeing this tomorrow afternoon, and am looking forward to it!

Did you use a regular GPSr or your phone GPS to do that?

Box post 2K.:)

Bought a small data logger. Though I have used my BB and that site to automatically do it with GREAT results. Just no GMS service over here

Yes, indeedy! And, that is why I will not allow my daughters to ride on travelling amusement park rides. Disney - OK. Busch Gardesn - OK. Six Flags - OK. Travelling rides - big NO NO.

My verdict on up in the air.

Great movie, though I did want more FT and less romantic comedy.

I liked it. I am very thankful they didn't go with the original plot line of the book though. Wouldn't have worked very well.

Excellent.

We did a bungee jump off from the Nevis cable car in NZ a few years back, solely because my sister (who had done a bridge jump) really goaded us into it. And sadly, after all the trash talking, she refused to get up on the platform. :rolleyes:

BTW, if anyone was wondering how my turkey turned out (right) , I think it was a success - but that might be because I told my hubby I'd hurt him if there was nothing less than praise. :D
