Consecutive Christmas Eve\Day Tokyo hotel redemption's are
Looks like I may have to Hop
Except Ritz-Carlton has no point savers for either night, so 1 night is 70,000

Currently holding
24th at Conrad(no 25th available)
27th/28th at both Park Hyatt(FFN) and Ritz(point saver 40k/night)
Looks like I can get into one of the Intercontinental Properties on the 25th(40K)

any feed back on IC properties in Tokyo

Gonna watch Hyatt like a hawk and see if maybe\hopefully something opens up 12/24-25

There's absolutely no way I'll spend $30K, as all my travel is leisure.

That's 4 times my combined personal and work-related travel budget so "Is Not Possible" for me as well.

There have been four other fires since they put the guy in jail. This most recent fire was at a house that had originally been targeted.

Keeping the shotgun loaded either way.

That sounds like an excellent plan. ^

Hey guys,

Just stopping by for a moment... haven't forgotten about you all, but have been drowning in final-push bs to get to the 17th in one piece and end this project phase on a high note. I'd much rather hang here than go to silly client meetings.

In other news... it is a balmy 20-something here in Fort Worth today, and I'm enjoying watching the people here try to cope with the cold :)

I hope CLE isn't snowed in by tomorrow night. I need to get home. The new bed arrived while I was away... so I need to try it out ^^^

:)

Been an on-running discussion here, I believe that the consensus is no. ALCO even made what I thought was a poetic plea to the good Revenue Management Lurker. Such plea has seem to fallen upon deaf ears.:p:D

+1 on the location, since I was right next door at the JW back in Oct. Easy walk to most places, and MTR right there for anything that's not a short walk.

The US$400/night was a bit , but it was on the company's dime. (or more correctly, their 4,000 dimes)

Given the heat in August, we cabbed it a lot. surprisingly cheap as well.

Aren't you sitting on over a million CO miles?

I thought about burning my ST USA Miles as a possibility. Just hate to redeem to Europe in "low season" when in theory that is the perfect time to be earning "easy/cheap" EQMs. I still tend to agree with others that the traditional low fares will grace us soon. I hope ....:)

I had gotten the BestBuy Gateway Deal(n270,b/g, 6 cell) so had something to fall back on, was hard to at least not try for the Amex deal and lady luck held.
Guess I'll be taken the Gateway back to BB

Is that Throw Me a Statue or OFFICE? I listened to the former and really enjoyed it.

One of my fav million mile stories came from an experience with my former boss. He kept giving me  about my cool vacations when I finally asked him how many miles he had in his account. He really had no clue, so I logged in and found over 900,000 miles collecting dust. I pretty much told him that he was a moron and worked a trip for him and his family to go to Paris and London in BusinessFirst during his daughter's senior year.
