+1

I got it for more like $7.50 - got a $60 pack of iTunes gift cards for $45 at Costco after Thanksgiving. ^

I pretty much told him that he was a moron and worked a trip for him and his family to go to Paris and London in BusinessFirst during his daughter's senior year.

I think I would have booked myself a trip to Hawaii or somewhere equally nice as compensation for helping him out!!

Heh, I doubt they'd put him on a no-fly list because of posting on a blog. I don't think we've sunk quite that far, at least not yet.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH.

I just managed to embarrass myself thanks to my mother.

There have been tons of HNL deals this past year. This is high season for them. I expect sales to come back around February for the islands.

We really did not see the fall silly season as in years past.

Who knows, maybe he'll be invited to join the Sunday morning talking heads and have to rush over to DC.

I am lucky in that regard. I can embarrass myself just fine without anyone's help and often do.:D:D

I had a co worker whose husband had the same name as a certain film director from canada who enjoyed poking at the Bush administration. It took years of high level complaints before he could travel without hassle.

My mother has been my conduit of information for this job at Boeing that I keep hearing about. She first says that the job was an explosives job, and it turned out not to be.

Then the other night, she is having dinner with the mother-in-law of the guy who works there that has forwarded my resume. See previous posts about Boeing losing the gig, appeal, etc. Mom tells me that he has been picked up by the new company.

I sent a congratulations/feeler email, only to find out that he had not been picked up. Great, yeah, that's a good way to keep a contact. She doesn't listen when people talk to her, and doesn't care if her misinformation results in problems. How she operates a successful business mystifies me some days.

Yeah, that is a toughie. I try to keep the personal and the professional from mixing although Mrs. GTITAN (i.e. wife) is never loathe to offer her opinion about things whether I am interested or otherwise.;):D
