The HS friend with whom I am gonna see in LA -- is freaking out on FB!:D He's asking for advice on how to lose 33 lbs in 2 days -- just b/c he hasn't seen me in 30 yrs!;):rolleyes: Plus, he's married to his partner, so I'm not his 'type' - anyway!;):D

The picture quality in SD is tons better than Comcrap. I'm not HD-enabled right now and I'm OK with that, surprisingly. NHL Network is free here and I have yet to discover all the goodies in their version of the channel guide, but for a day and a half now I have had the little kid from the commercial in my head: "You should see his truck."

It took all my control not to puke when guys started ordering mango and passion fruit flavored beer, but that's a different story.

I don't recall that. I do recall drinking quite a lot of Kriek Lambic. ^

Lambics are good stuff. Perfectly acceptable beer choice. I'm also partial to Porters, Dubbels/Tripels, Bocks, Alsatian, Wheat (Dunkel or Blond), Strong Beer, Lager, Pilsner, etc... :D
