Wow, that's surprising for NJ. I've always been :eek:ed by the fact that they sell Kirkland brand vodka. Seriously? I can't imagine that tasting good.

I actually do that at Sam's in COS -- better than cooking when I'm there by myself!^

No. Either FT or Comcrap is acting up.

With that, Good night Box.

It looked like Wegmans (Bridgewater) was selling beer and wine in the general store now. :-:

I don't know what law changed, but they have beer and wine in the aisles and opened up a new 'door' to the liquor section. Veuve Clicquot was on sale for $37. :-:

That's not so bad. It's the people who will wait 20 minutes in line with two jugs of milk or something random like shaving cream.

Allegedly it tastes as good as Grey Goose. My Mom got two bottle when she was down in FL to sample it. I can report back after Christmas. :-:

I've got something in the cabinet that's probably worse - Chesapeake brand vodka. Then again, it's used for guests and drinks I wouldn't drink (e.g. "can you make an appletini?").

During slower times, Costco can also be fun for just looking at the random bulk items they sell.

Their milk is a very good price (you're right though, not worth going in just for milk) but I swear that it is impossible to pour milk out of that square container without spilling some.

Yes -- the milk is a great price-- but no - I would never go to Costco just for milk! The square container can be challenging at times!

Costco is an art.

I've managed to master it and am generally in and out within 30 minutes.

I just don't understand the people who go into Costco to buy something simple, like Milk. I will never understand that.

Wow -you are 'gifted'!:D I seem to always end up spending a lot more than I imagined -- but SPG AmEx getting lots of 'attention'!:D

Biscoffs are wonderful creations. In fact, they are part of what made US F more tolerable - the snack box is loaded with them!

They have a very old liquor license, that was one of the first Price Clubs in the country.

As for the Kirkland Vodka, it's actually OEM'ed from one of the major Vodkas. I want to say it's either Goose or Ketel, but i'm blanking as to what it is. But it's definitely not Popov. :D

Interesting, some Googling shows that it is Goose. :-:

Well, during my year off I spent a lot of time at Costco for various different things and learned some of the tricks.

I also learned that inventory distribution at Costco is often controlled by the area of said Costco. So, when I was looking for jeans, i'd head to the one where the folks were a little larger as they would inevitabley have a few of the smaller sizes since they weren't popular there.
