I had wanted to do AUA-AMS, but couldn't find an easy way to get to AUA. YVR-AMS will still be a cool line. I may try for some CC-type trades in the future, though, as SkyTeam does have an impressive Caribbean-Europe route network for redemptions.

I have a EWR-DTW-AMS-SEA trip booked for Dec. I just got told I may have a conflict and may not be able to go.

To boot, I got them to honor that at 80k. I'm hoping I can still do it, but we'll see.

In other news, I'm getting very pissed at ANA. As I learned the hard way, they will tell you all the VS flights are avail until you try to ticket. I'm hoping VS opens up some space for Thanksgiving weekend.

How much earlier? Tuesday is going to be a VERY LOOOOOONNNNNNG day. If it means being reasonably well rested in advance of that I'd go with the non-stop.

I plan to try to duck out of work early and catch the 5:30p flight to ORD if at all humanly possible.

There are times you just have to be someplace by a certain time. Take the direct flight. You won't have to worry about a missed connection either and you can start the Mega DO a bit more relaxed.

Those are some of the concerns I had. It will be the difference of 9 pm or 12 am. I am going to try for the direct now.

Unless you are adopting culinary textbooks and they insist on taking you to a seven course Sake Dinner!! :)

I definitely have the passport (though I did just check again). Toiletries, too.

I think it is because I don't have a second pair of shoes that it seems so easy to pack for this one. I'm wearing the one pair now that I expect to wear over the next 10 days.

Well, I can't help you know!!

Well we can get some sippie cups at the hotel and take empty passed security and fill up in the club ;)

I wish everyone safe travels who is coming to the do. Same to the rest of yall traveling or enjoying a new day on the job, Mackieman!

I just watched the Jeff video from IAH, I am offended by the sign in the background. I need a glass of quarter before I start a thread about it.

Philly does not seem to have a gate lice problem as of yet.

I agree that EUAs are serious business and should always be processed properly but I see no reason to start a new thread every time someone sees an issue with it. The end result of every one of those threads is the same - report it to CO and let them handle it internally. Getting FTers all worked up doesn't solve anything.
