Walking to the convenience store with the minimum purchase requirement for credit cards, carrying a fistful of dollar coins.

compared to a homeless guy burning trash in a dumpster for heat and accidentally setting himself on fire?

Both would be victims (accident or intentional).

It almost seem strange seeing tweets and stuff from FRA of people watching the game over there as they are already awake because of the early flight time.

Managed to get teh 'lectric bill down to $40. Wonder if I can push it down to $35 or less, now that a/c season appears to be (thankfully) over.

Now that's funny...

Ours drops in the summer in ANC... and increases in the winter- (gas for heat goes to almost zero in summer too) but electric increases primarily due to the darkness that persists... so more lights turned on, and tv (inside more)

That's odd. I got eligibility through my father.

As did they, but my parents did not serve, I don't think it goes two generations.

I was grandfathered into USAA when you could still be grandfathered in. I think that to get USAA from your parents you have to have your own policy by 25. Their banking is still good to get though and membership is not required!!

Awake because of flight time or just said "screw it - I'll just stay up" (e.g. my trip to ZRH - three hours sleep between 6 a.m. Friday and getting home early Monday).

Not in a rush (will be booking 2010 flights) and I consider response times for e-mails to Customer Service as indicative of the service I'll get.
