The firm I was one of the founders of in 1999 had corporate-provided beer at 3 p.m. each Friday (I was the one who got the UA FF miles for purchasing at Safeway). Yes, it took me until 2006/2007 to recognize a return on my capital when the firm was acquired but I also pulled a decent salary for the period I stayed around (1999-2000).

I will be happy to see what ours looks like; I know it will be better. I didn't like it when I was paying Reliant more than I could fly to Asia.

Ours has been slowly going down. I am not enjoying paying more for electricity north of Austin than I did in San Diego.

Verizon is upping the ETF fee to $350 for anyone canceling service before end of term, even 23 months....

Takes me about a year to pay the electric company enough to get a TPAC trip, and that's only because of the dehumidifier running.

I thought they were proposing it internally and that it was only for, "advanced" devices, which probably means anything that can be construed as a PDA.

Have I mentioned in the Box that I love approaching my two-year anniversary (just before Thanksgiving) with T-Mobile post contract?

There were people dancing at the DO?

1 hour, 12 minutes to DO flight push back. 12 minutes before XYZZY closes check-in for all of the unclaimed BP's.

I like my compact home and I worked a year and a half to greatly improve energy efficiency. Think ~1,400 sq ft pre-1930 Craftsman Cottage in TN with summers and winters.

My first time dancing since I broke my ankle.

Unseen footage from Top Chef Reunion was worth the watch.

This is probably wasted on teh Box, but the Houston Ballet level 8 students (the good ones that are in the productions) are debuting their solos this Friday at 7:30. Sadly, not presented by Continental, but happily, is free.
