I do not see a (few) thread(s), so it must not exist. :-:

It intrigues me! But alas, need to find revenue first.

Yes indeed, the only time that I have ever "abused" a mistake fare was the "Y" fare from MSP-LGW on CO where the decimal point in the $4000.00 was not exactly where it should have been. Upgraded BF, at 1.5 EQMs, with positively silly routings such as MSP-IAH-AUS-IAH-LGW-IAH-DFW-IAH-MSP was kinda fun for $400.;)

The funny thing was the fact that CO Insider was here in CLE for a mini-do when it was discovered. My compliments to CO on how well they handled the boo boo, unlike, say, BA.

+1 Yeah, didn't the folks at CO just have a laugh about that one IIRC?

Plasmas tend to burn much faster, but it is possible to burn an LCD.

Or something close to it. Did they lose revenue? Yeah, sure, but in the big picture of things how much did it really hurt them. We FTers sometimes forget that we really are a small percentage of the traveling public - we are just more knowledgeable and vocal than your typical passengers. And that is what makes the crap pulled by LX and BA most annoying. Is the bad press and man hours really worth the games that were played?

I fail to comprehend the people who post saying that airlines should not honor mistake fares. They screwed up, someone noticed, end of story.

Well they claim they have to find the leak before they can repair it, tends to make sense. I kinda guessed they would just put a new roof on

IMHO it depends on how and when it is done. Waiting several days and then arbitrarily cancelling tickets without notice is not acceptable. Within 24 hours I can cut them some slack, similar to how they have cut me slack for my mistakes in the past.

Well if I were to employ some legal magic here: offer, acceptance, consideration. Binding contract formed. Unilateral mistake on the party with the "position of power" to rescind a contract .... Umm sorry .. not so much ....:td:

Ahhh yes, but there it is contract recission by both parties willing to do so for whatever reason. They very well could have told you to go pound sand. If they had, you would not have had a "legal leg" to stand on in truth.
