Luxor airport is pleasantly modern. Free WIFi (wasn't working earlier but is now). No lounge but I received an invitation to such which was valid for a free drink at the cafe (no booze available in the building). A few outlets scattered around, too.
The clock starts now on the truly crazy part of the itinerary. LUX-CAI-IST-JFK-BCN over about 36 hours. Yikes! |

It has been 52degree tops in the last 1.5 weeks and cooled the place down significantly. One disadvantage to pier and beam. (and it has been below freezing outside now for 30 hours or so) |
