Frankly, I've only been to one Parisian restaurant in the last two years where I would describe the service as indifferent. Then again travel has been tough - the French decreased the VAT on food pretty substantially; meals are multiple euro cheaper than last year.

Question for the Box / DC Hyatt MRs. Is there a way we can get the dates / locations for next week out there? I now think I'll miss everyone but here's what I have:

A. 1-2 Jan - Hyatt Fair Lakes on a ridiculously low rate.
B. 2-3 Jan - Hyatt Dulles or Hyatt Place Chantilly / Airport South, the former at a lower rate by $3 and full breakfast but the latter with 500 more GP points.

On the 3rd, I head to the condo in Gatlinburg but would be happy to meet up with anyone in town.

I think a lot of FTers will be checked into those hotels on those days. Whether they will actually be there is another story ;)

Sorry I'm a bit late checking in this a.m. What's with all the ABQ talk in the CO forum?

I guess I need to leave here and check it out...

True. Parking's free, internet's free, full breakfast is free (unless I go the HP route) and I'll get more work done away from family - I'll actually stay.

Our friend sfogate suggested I could go well over a week without shaving and break out the euro trash look at the Park Hyatt. No SD reader in the laptop but I just took a photo to commemorate that thought. Although I've shaved I staged a photo standing on my balcony, Place Vendome Column in the background, drinking a 1664.*

* I thought about picking up the Amsterdam instead but that appears to only be ingested while on trains.

Morning Box.

Fares to PRG dropped about $15 () but, unfortunately, they include a 9:50 layover in FRA. :td:

Posts per page settings are different. Oh well. Off to the orientation; dressed warm just in case they stick me outside for part of it.

34 inches of pitch would improve many mainline experiences.

Maybe he's working on the replacement for Word they need to get out on the street in the next few days?
