This is a great fear of mine and something that would make me very, very upset. They don't stress their 77W fleet the way CO does their 772s, right? They have some slack they can catch up with? Pretty please!

Welcome adelauro! You will find that discussions of things like #2 are fairly common. I am fairly new myself and have just learned to jump in. :) Just watch where you step. :eek:

I'm 95% sure that it is not secure transit. I have very fuzzy memories of deplaning and being right at a checkpoint, similar to CGN.

TK is pretty tight, even with the Jet planes...

No showers in the otherwise quite lovely MS/*A lounges in CAI. Food offerings are decent (all cold, but decent) and plenty of room. Free wifi and 4 computer stations. Not too shabby.

Only one more hour here before I can get on board a plane and take a nap. Pushing hour 22 for the day and it isn't pretty at all.

I don't think they're too tight, but I think TK is just prone to random delays.

How many of the 9W planes are there? Do they just have them (it??) hopping back and forth between IST and JFK every day? Right now TK2 is due in 2.5 hours late. If that is my aircraft I've already misconnected. Not good.

I see it also on the HKG route on occasion (with timing that makes sense for making up the JFK outbound) but it didn't operate tonight for some reason. Where else does it fly?

ETA: Deep breath. Nothing I can do about it now. Roll with the punches (even if some are from the splendiferous Mrs. sbm12 tomorrow when she figures it out). I wonder what TK can do with DL. Being as I'm in F they might make a call or push for something. Slim chance, but better than nothing.
