First batch of chocolate marshmallows is now setting, and later on I'll whip together a second batch, this time just plain ones.

That'll make mom happy tomorrow for Christmas :)

I was about to rebook IAH-MIA-ZRH-IST yesterday morning, but took a minute to check out the latest meteogram and detailed forecast data for ORD. Weather Underground came through for me again. Weather.com is useless.

I've paid $5 a year to remove ads from wunderground.com for years now, and I will continue to as it is some of the most valuable weather information around.

I have a new favorite book... "The Gone-Away World" by Nick Harkaway. It's as if Phillip K. Dick, Thomas Pynchon and Hunter S. Thompson got together to collaborate on a book about a rather bizarre form of armageddon, with a healthy dose of ninjas and armchair philosophy thrown in. :D

That was my thought, but if CO won't sell me SZG-FRA we'd be getting on the train at early o'clock to get to MUC in time to catch a connection.

UA will sell me IAH-ORD-MUC (with a 40 minute connection in ORD  ) SZG-FRA-IAH.

That would scare me. I thought 40 minutes was bad in DEN on UA to UAEx, but UA to UA TATL...no thanks.

Have I mentioned before how much I like my new netbook?? On the plan and easily connected to my phone via Bluetooth and up and running on the internet in under 2 minutes it seemed!! Love technology.

You will have to show me how to do this next week. I have a netbook and get very frustrated in airports when I can't get wireless connection.
