Morning Box. Feeling blah at the moment from over sleeping. I woke up at 7 for some reason after staying up until 1:30 watching the Star Wars review Colpuck' posted. I said to myself it was entirely too early to wake up and the rolled back over and slept for another 3 hours.

There is a certain psychological thing about owning your own piece of real estate, yes? I absolutely hate the fact that we are renting this house while our own house is being built. I feel that it is money that is just being poured down the drain instead of into paying off my rather substantial mortgage....:(

Brituchenite - the Paul Prudhomme New Orleans banana bread recipe is the way to go. If you're interested, let me know and I'll PM it to you!

Yes, please. I'd really like to be able to bake a decent banana bread.

I trust our East-Coasters interested in PRG are paying attention to the XXX-BCN fare over in MR Deals? Should result in a reasonable price, even after paying 80EUR to fly Vueling BCN-PRG.

And so long as it is sufficiently moist without being heavy like a brick I'm OK with the banana bread not having choco chips. But it is better that way. ;)[/QUOTE]

Mine always come out like a brick .....:(:(:( I wish I know what I am doing wrong. I always follow the recipe, but it always ends up like a brick.

Nevermind. $430a/i is the cheapest I see... not the $295a/i advertised in teh thread title.

I'm trying. The outbound on Thursday is $195 pre-dump and the Saturday is only $50 less. I can make it work with LEJ on the outbound and Vueling/BCN on the return with an extra overnight for $525 or $570ish without. Not all that much better than DRS/LEJ in general. Plus there is the EUR20 train from LEJ and the bad timing of that.

Still nothing pretty out there.
