Am I the only one who steps on my Wii Fit and it goes "Oh!" like it's surprised to see me, then it murmurs a bit and seems to "get into it" before telling me I have age beyond my years?

I don't think I need a Wii Fit

On a nicer note - despite checking out the fitness facility immediately after a large breakfast and with shoes / etc., I seem to have lost a bit more over the holidays. I was noticing yesterday that my clothes were fitting less well, given the sheer number of mirrors in the PH.

The girlfriend was a cutie too. The new girl traveling with Clooney, um, no.

Speaking of cuties, I got to speak with Kathryn Stockett in the airport Christmas Day.

I lost a lot of faith right there.

I'm always completely floored by the quality of this type of "graffiti". It really is art, isn't it? Absolutely amazing.

There was also the person in L.A. who was pursued by authorities for making some of the freeway street signs more user-friendly. That was a few years ago ...

Sounds like you're having quite the flying adventure.

Just got off the phone with SkyTeam USA - rather than flying home CDG-AMS-ATL-IAD, I'm now simply flying CDG-IAD. Didn't want to run into a problem in an intermediate city / timing with all the  in the world.

Just called OneWorld USA to change my flight to LAS (previously scheduled for the 29th). Having a lot of great airline interactions lately.

Good morning, box. Woke up immensely early for no apparent reason. Guess the body was thinking I was outbound on the early MAF flight today, which for once isn't the case.

In other news, I may have a sudden trip to LIT for NYEve... seems she does a fair amount of travelling too... I'll have to ponder introducing her to FT and *maybe* teh Box. ;)
(And if ronjon sees this, no, I don't have anything to say on this topic at the moment, so don't ask.) :D

Morning, Box. Up early from the hacking and  that is commonly associated with a sinus infection. Good thing I'm going back home today, as I can liberate my prescription decongestant and some of that Mexican Amoxcicillin that my mother is so fond of buying when she visits.

Deleted - oops. Thought that was the Up in the Air girl...

Howdy, Box!

Another day of diving in the Red Sea is complete. Was within 10' of dolphins on the last dive. Awesome experience.

Oh, dear! Nevertheless, the art is always impressive!

Am at teh JNB Baobab Lounge, awaiting my CR7 to WVB. Gotta cut myself off from the South African White Wine soon, as I've got a rental car waiting for me on the other end. MS C on the A330 is pretty nice. The seats don't look very impressive, but they do a damn fine job when it comes to being an excellent cradle-seat (no pretense of lie-flat, even angled). Best cradle design I've experienced. Seat cushion tilts upwards at the front edge and moves forwards, making for a most comfy sleeping position. My MS 738 was also quite nice. Turned out it had a dedicated C cabin with very nice domestic C seats (adjustable headrests, footrests, and about 50" of pitch). Lack of booze was only noticeable on IST-CAI (slept the entire CAI-JNB). I haz plenty of aeroporn to share once I get around to uploading. :-:

Sounds like you are having a fun time! Lucky you! At least the snow has melted here and the sun is shining today, even if it is crisp and chilly.
