I was going to ask you if you shot those with your 40D, and then I saw the huge Canon lens cap on the armrest.

Sometimes I feel like everyone I know is training for marathons or half marathons. Including women who have toddlers, or those my parents' age. <insert feelings of inadequacy and sloth> It seriously seems like the new black.

Ah ha! I wasn't looking at Summerfield.

Morristown Hyatt only $52. Wow. I was looking at that one a couple of weeks ago, for the w/e of the 30th and the cheapest it threw back to me was $99.

NY/NJ is a terrible place for SPG mattress runs - the Sheraton Edison is the only thing that's even close, and it varies a lot. Northern VA/metro DC is pretty good, though, so I'll probably try to do that when I can - of course, I can't actually STAY there, but I can drive by and check in and disturb the bed sheets a little. :)

There's a couple signs on the Turnpike and then some more as you get close, but I'd suggest ensuring you either have a GPS or map around. It's in Cranbury, NJ, with C&B info here.

It's one of the larger outlets they have :D. They carry kitchen gadgets in addition to dishes and cups, some bathroom and general household merchandise (e.g., curtains, picture frames, wicker baskets, pillows, carpets) and furniture. In the back they also have a dings and dents section with items that got a bit damaged in the distribution center -- make sure you go through the doors behind the furniture section!

I live off Exit 8 and got a LOT of stuff here when I first moved. :) The kitchen section is very well-stocked and (IIRC) significantly discounted. Particularly after holidays. :D The damaged-furniture section is, as you can imagine, definitely hit or miss - don't go in there expecting to find anything specific, but depending on the day you might see something that works. I got a nice bedside lamp there which just had a broken part of the bulb housing - an easy fix.

Any proof of working for blue required?

the other 13171 worked at one location(CLT) as 20% off H.com rate but not for RDU. CLT is a bit of a drive to from RDU to save 6 pieces of gold?

I'm surprised it was only $2, particularly with their presence in that area.

I've never been asked for proof, that rate does come in handy at certain properties.

No better deals with the sale they are running? I managed to get a 50% discount on one of my bookings thanks to the sale.

At this rate I should be diamond by the end of the month, then onto my SPG status.

The 738 J pics are slightly blurry. Had it at f/4, 800 ISO, shutter speed around 40. I think camera-shake could rightly be attributed to finding oneself on a dry airline. :D

the 17-40L only goes to f/4. An L-Series wide-angle that stops down farther than that costs well over a grand.

That's the kind of scratch that can get one to EZE or something.

Still so worth it. (Not that I have the scratch for either).

Great aircraft cabin lens with it being a 16-35, but steep indeed.

Well my Homeowner's Insurance contractor is finally providingng me with some pricing on repairing the roof damage from TS-Ida(after 6 visits)

HO's has agreed to replace 7 squares of shingles for $300 plus 500 deductible I've already paid. That cost is for 3 sheets of plywood(sheathing)that will likely need to be replaced. HO said they'd assume damage to shingles but not sheathing but as the shingles will already be pulled in 4 different places the cost is for materials and remove\install only of the plywood as my part.
That includes water damage to inside of home as well-1 sheet of gypsum, respray ceiling and insulation

Contractor has offered to add a cricket-small dormer like device at backside of chimney to help divert water to each side of chimney better.

Further contractor has agreed to replace the entire roof(ridge vent, flashing) for only 3400.00, that includes the sheathing and cricket. So net for roof is 3400-300-450+500=$3150(does not account for interior damage as it's not broken out in anything I've received, yet). This is for 19 squares total

Seems like a mighty good deal to me. Perhaps I ought to call some other roofing contractors and see what 19 squares would cost.

I'm inclined just to have it ALL done. The roof is 12 years old(hurrican Fran got the last one)

If you want real wide, the Tokina 11-16/2.8 is a nice lens. I got it in Nikon mount for <$600 from Beards&Hats. Pairs nicely with my D300.

I still lust for a 70-200/2.8, though. Teh Mrs. probably wouldn't approve of the $$$, though.

I've never heard it referred to as that, but that is just simply hysterical.
