As I've only ever been to SFO airport in transit, I wouldn't have a clue!

I've stayed there many times but found the North Beach area really nice with excellent restaurants within walking distance. I stayed in the Hilton and you can walk from the Metro in about 10-15 min. It's near one of the cable car lines too (I think the California). It's right by Chinatown too. Much less hustle-and-bustle than the Financial District.

And they say that the EUA process isn't working.

Meanwhile I'm seeing a commercial for Johnnie Black and I'm getting thirsty.

I'm back. Left the office early and stocked up on beer (Sierra Nevada Pale Ale). Dinner required some additional prep tonight. I am making a tri tip, roasted potatoes and I haven't decided on green veggie yet. The potatoes seem to always take about 30-45 minutes to prepare before putting in the oven.

That sounds a lot better than the pizza I am eating right now...

LA media is torching USC for hiring Kiffin/Ogeron.

I have the Killian's (on number two) but do have Woodford in the car. Might finish beer two and then get a nip for dessert.

Sounds like a lot of work before your Friday evening commute (regional Hyatt).

I'm feeling a small Woodford later tonight to knock me out early so I can get some semblance of sleep in a bed before a 430a alarm clock tomorrow...

Orgeron used his Tennessee-issued cell phone to call Tennessee recruits and ask them to come to USC. There's shock here in Tennessee that the "bad apple" approach hasn't led to the Kiffin's entire staff at Tennessee being canned.

Re SFO Hotel: The Union Square area will be much better for touristy things. Although it is a bit of a hike away, there are some good hotels in the financial district -- the LeMeridien San Francisco is pretty nice (I also always get a suite there). ^ FD is fairly close to ferry building and some good restaurants...
