If you want to take a jaunt down the Atlantic City Line, I'll meet you in AC and bring these bagels, which IMO are so good that I would stake my reputation on them.

What cell phone service do you have at home? The newer Kindles are AT&T for their cell signals. If you use AT&T at home do you have decent signal? |

You can also load books via the USB cable, FWIW.

He discovered that there is great coverage in my area of NJ but was seeing that I was getting no connectivity. He is shipping me a new device, to arrive on Monday. I have Verizon and have excellent signal. Unfortunately, i am very dismayed to hear that the newer kindles use AT &T because AT&T coverage sucks in my part of NJ. oh well. I'll wait for my new model, and then if I still have connectivity problems I'll chalk it up to ATT and just download books via my computer while I'm at home. Bummer. I was excited to get this thing up and working. I'm doing a same day MR to SAN on Tuesday and want to take it with me! |

All this beer talk has me convinced. Meet us a George Keeley's tonight for quality brews and questionable company.
485 Amsterdam Avenue New York, NY 10024-4644 I should be there around 8:30pm. I was going to be good tonight, but.... The boy and I will be there! |

Oh look. Two new job p:rolleyes:stings that I can do and would like to do but of course I'm sure I'm "overqualified". I don't have the energy at the moment to deal with the on-line applications and tweeking my resume and it's late on Friday too. They'll be off on Monday anyway.

I love getting a phone call from a friend who just happens to be flying out of DEN tomorrow while I've got a layover there. Hooray for quick breakfasts with college friends!

I think there's only one spot in NJ that does have good ATT coverage: sdm1130's house. The old Cingular network is terrible down by me...east of the Parkway is atrocious in particular.

it is akin to BofA's 'keep the change' ATT calls it 'keep the minutes' as in, you can't use them anyway :D
At least with AT&T's rollover minutes, they exist (not that I ever go over my 450 minutes/month...). |

I might...I'll be in SFO from 1200p-150p. And as nice as the RCC is, I might swing by the PC for a quick free drink.

We're going to miss each other. My shift doesn't start until 4:30pm. :(
Next trip though...I'm a fan of connecting at SFO for my West Coast stuff. |

Ah...I will be enjoying Seat 2A on an internationally-configured United 777 during that time.
