I'll end up springing on an $80 or so rate for one night to earn another FFN - if the rates were to tank this weekend, I was thinking of doing three stays again ...

I have one more at $99 ($50 dinner credit + 2,500 points) this weekend (Sunday). I need one more for the 5th FFN.

For whatever reason, when I went to the bar tonight, I thought it was Wednesday. This week can't get done soon enough :rolleyes:

Northern Virginia D.C. suburbs and Atlanta are known for a number of ridiculous rates - I've stayed in both ATL-area hotels showing $53 for this weekend ... And I was finding $52/night rates last year with the $100 off a two-night stay certificate given to diamonds :rolleyes:

My next stay will give me an seventh FFN - three already used, three already spoken for.

It does that for me too, but I didn't consult the Crackberry before thinking it was Wednesday (and ordering off the Wednesday special menu).

Morristown Hyatt only $52. Wow. I was looking at that one a couple of weeks ago, for the w/e of the 30th and the cheapest it threw back to me was $99.

I had almost no stays near year end. I will end up with 8 January 2010 stays (plus the phantom 1 stay from 12/31) at the end of January. 17 looks pretty good! ^ I will also have a 5 night stay at MC:rolleyes: Marriott World Center.

If I only had a free weekend, I would fly to EWR to do that -- Flights from LAX on AA are under $300 AI.

Flyertalk moment -- someone commented on HR board complaining that water was out last night (HR OC). I got message at checkin (from my favorite checkin person :D). I got up and had a wonderful hot shower. Apparently, I ran the hotel out of hot water... Oops! :eek:

He apparently was in the bar last night when I was posting from there.
