Managed to get a sub-zero refrigerator into the package and still stayed under $20k. But, I think I am going to dump the refrigerator and go for a Kitchenaid instead. too many complaints about the Sub-Zeros. This will reduce my bill by anohter $1,500

Kitchenaid fridges and Sub-Zeros are basicly the same fridge. You are paying more for them to put on different sticker that's hidden away from public viewing. Did you consider this fridge?

In other news, it smells like the heater motor in my car may have a small leak. Going to have to get that checked out ASAP. :td:

That is one mighty fine loooking refrigerator. Sadly, it is waaaaaaaaay too big for my kitchen! I want a 48" built in, not an eleventy billion inch built it.

Yes, just about. I have looked at many different makes - Sub-Zero, Thermador, DAcor, DCS, Viking, Kitchenaid, and to be honest, for the extra $$$ for the"high-end" it's just not worth it for me.

What I want is capacity. I want a really large refrigerator because I store a lot of stuff in it. At the moment, I have two full size refrigerators - one in the garage and one in the kitchen.

I had a Kitchenaid at my last house, and it was absolutely fine. All my friends that have the Sub-Zeros complain constantly about them breaking down, being difficult to fix, etc.

Same with those dishwasher drawers. Every single person I know who has them complains that they don't clean properly, they are hard to stack, and they leak.
