My faith in people has been gone for so long that I really don't remember what made me lose it. I don't remember what life as an innocent was like, back when people were nice and the air was clean...and people did not exhibit surprise upon having their calls returned.

Today's gift-giving and fake familial interactions having been concluded, I'm off to bed.

Night, Box. Apartment photos for y'all's viewing pleasure tomorrow. :-:

People in this country are getting dumber by the minute.

Well, USC ended up winning against BC. It wasn't a total washout this season, since I get to rag on my boss for the result of the game!^

So, I drove across town to visit my dad today. On the Pasadena Fwy. (110 N), the graffiti along a stretch of the freeway was of a family of well drawn cats. On Christmas Eve, the drawings were apparent. Yesterday, there were 10-15 more, and today, the detail on the cats was really awesome.

These cats look really cool and are on the side of every bridge undercrossing. I can't wait to see what they look like tomorrow, since they have been evolving over the last few days.

This isn't your typical graffiti -- it is fun art, as far as I am concerned!

I'm always completely floored by the quality of this type of "graffiti". It really is art, isn't it? Absolutely amazing.

Well, it's time for bed for me, Box.

Night-night, sleep tight! Make sure the bedbugs don't bite. If they do, squeeze 'em tight, then they won't come back another night! :D

Although I see the art form, in this case I suspect that one group of taggers is trying to challenge the, um, masculinity of another group.

Can this weekend be almost over? I guess I need to take most of next week off to recover! ^ (no context at all)

This post is being posted to compensate me for one which will probably be removed from the AA thread, when the entire thread is deleted. I responded to someone who posted a picture of a bunny with a pancake on its head... I feel dirty...

NRT bound, after experiencing, The Wing Lounge in HKG

Howdy, Box.

Am at teh JNB Baobab Lounge, awaiting my CR7 to WVB. Gotta cut myself off from the South African White Wine soon, as I've got a rental car waiting for me on the other end. MS C on the A330 is pretty nice. The seats don't look very impressive, but they do a damn fine job when it comes to being an excellent cradle-seat (no pretense of lie-flat, even angled). Best cradle design I've experienced. Seat cushion tilts upwards at the front edge and moves forwards, making for a most comfy sleeping position. My MS 738 was also quite nice. Turned out it had a dedicated C cabin with very nice domestic C seats (adjustable headrests, footrests, and about 50" of pitch). Lack of booze was only noticeable on IST-CAI (slept the entire CAI-JNB). I haz plenty of aeroporn to share once I get around to uploading. :-:

Hope everyone's doing well. Internet connection here in JNB is painfully slow. Hopefully I can catch a Box History Channel update when I get to Namibia. :-:
