Haha. Now I'll never be able to sell him on another $49+tax mistake fare to Europe on UA in E+.

At least I'm no longer hearing about getting home later on Fridays than I used to thanks to mileage running on UA. I think the value of SWUs and CR-1s is now understood, especially since we're planning on doing Hawaii and at least one international trip in 2010.

We're off. Time to find coffee, a bite to eat, and a train to Antwerp.

I did not. My camera was packed away and I didn't want to dig through my bag.

If you're uploading and printing you can easily adjust the crop yourself...

Or do the crop yourself in PS or other image-editing tool of choice.

And, in the few cases where I've had an issue with the output quality from Costco, they've gladly reprinted the image.

I saw the "single-slug" packaging of cookies and crackers (company slang - we call a single tube of cookies/crackers a "slug"), the fact that we don't make much roast and ground coffee in China because no one has a coffee maker - we make soluble coffee so they can just use the hot water they'd be using to make tea. I also saw a different approach to process design - because there's such a huge disparity in pay between US and China, there's a lot less willingness to use automation. You can't justify replacing a guy getting paid a buck or two an hour with a few hundred thousand dollars worth of palletizing and casepacking equipment.

Morning, Box. I need little else in this life at the moment than to go back to bed. In lieu of that, I will go to work.
