It's a nice thing to look at your weekly calendar and see:

M: Off
T: Off
W: Off
R: Off
F: Off

I'm in burning mode for vacation days. Didn't take any big trips this year, so I've got lots to use. Taking off this week, plus the last 2 weeks of the year.

And next year, they're giving me another week of time off. Whatever will I do? :D

It is very different than the book. But it is also important to remember that the book was set 20ish years ago when things were very different in the airline industry. I really enjoyed the book despite the few flaws in the FF program scheme details. And I'm sure I'll enjoy the movie as well.

Are you just staying home? Would they pay you out the vacation you didn't use otherwise? I hate the idea of taking a vacation day to sit in my apartment. Seems like such a waste.
