Rain, wind, and general apocalyptic conditions here this morning. Good thing I'm not working or doing anything education-based today other than hoping that a textbook arrives in teh mail and possibly putting some stuff in the mailbox myself. Went to my first geography class last Wednesday; many of the kids (101 course at a community college - I feel old in this room) have already bought the book. Prof says it is $141 at campus bookstore. Oh. Hell. No. Came home, went online, and $64 later I had the very same book. |

I was looking at hotel options for the Red River Rivalry in Dallas on October 2nd and came across the Aloft Dallas Downtown... Of course there are no rooms available for that weekend but the hotel looks pretty awesome: http://www.starwoodhotels.com/prefer..._section_2Link

I started my FM stuff. I have the cities written down, now I just have to remember how I got there. Then there is that step of putting all together on FM. Too bad train trips don't count. I did alot of my travels around Europe on the train. |
