How do you pronounce Agata? My mind equated it to "Agita" which isn't such a great thing for a grocery store.;)

Yeah, I should have said long fun night. I went out with some friends I have not seen in a while.

Just as it is spelled. There are enough Italians around NYC that most of the denizens have heard these names before and are accustomed to pronouncing them correctly. :)

Hmmmm. I did not even know that Fairway had a parking lot. I have always assumed that one needed to go to New Jersey to do supermarket type shopping and that there was no reasonable alternative in town.

The Fairway across from Dinosaur BBQ, under the West Side Hwy at 125th (ish?) is huge, with 2 large parking lots and a walk in meat cooler larger than most city stores. Worth a visit.

And now is even a Costco in Manhattan. What will they think of next?. Stores with parking lots? Who'd have ever thought?

Wow. That online econ course that icurhere2 recommended boosted the GPA of all the courses I had to list as prereqs by almost half a point. For admission purposes (which is to say that the advisor cherry-picked the best grades to fill required class slots) I'm now at a 2.93, and two A's in the other two prereqs will drive it up to 3.07.

I did Angelfood, took a nap, then made brunch. I should get to the gym given my level of productivity this morning.

I was shocked when the first home improvement store opened on Connecticut Avenue in D.C. with a parking lot (don't recall whether it was Home Depot or Lowes).

Definitely sounds like a worthwhile investment.

"Worthwhile" is magnificently understating it. ^
