So do you get the Jag if it comes, or does your daughter?

Since I know I won't be getting the Jag, my daughter can have it. :D
I actually love my '95 Honda Accord and I will drive it til it drops dead.

Trustguy, I will check out the lawyers but I have a sinking feeling that my mother will defer all things to my sister. I already have that gut feeling that my sister will have that power of attorney waiting for her signature.

Obviously I'm not the preferred child since I wasn't called by my uncle about my mother's condition. I suspect that my mother instructed her brother to call my sister. I will give him a call tomorrow to ask about what happened and why I wasn't called as well.

My mother lives in Oregon but will be moving to North Carolina. I just might have to take a little trip up north before she's moved.

Sadly, you may need to get her under conservatorship in order to reign things in. Once your sister starts serving as an apparent fiduciary, she is responsible for formally accounting to interested parties under most states' trust/fiduciary codes. You can drag things into Oregon by asking for such an accounting if she has had some impact on her finances...
