Greetings, AS Lounge folk, from a regular of the King (by posts and views) of the Lounge Threads, the Penalty Box. :)

We in the CO forum were having the discussion today about which Boardrooms AS let CO have access to post-Star Alliance. Does anyone happen to know this off the top of their heads?

Much very you thank.

Did a little search and encountered the fun discussion:

I'll stick with PC as I'm flying CO. Just wondered whether I could leave a carry-on bag there while I jaunt around SEA with Colpuck on Saturday afternoon before our MR to RDU.

The PClub in SEA is very small and the bag room is right across from the desk/bar. While there are no guarantees someone won't walk away with it, I think I'd feel safe enough about leaving a bag there for a bit.

There are lockers in that club. Since that club is small and your stuff will be there all day I would mention as you lock it up that it will be there all day. Just best to let them know that!!

You could drop your stuff there and then lounge hop. Too bad your not a PC member as you could likely get into SC and BR too!!

Correct- the CO PC has lockers that are very convenient to use- just ask them at the checkin desk, and they'll make a copy of your CC for a key. I used the biggest one they had, and barely fit my carryon inside it. (I had to take the rubber flooring out and smash the handle down on my bag.) But it was nice to not lug it to YKM & back on a QX turn :p

OK. If you mean PC as President's Club, then yes I am a member. But if you mean something else, what do you mean? And what do you mean by SC and BR?

Skyclub till end of month, AS BoardRoom I think very slim chance. only a couple allow it, PDX is one.

PC = President's Club

SC = Sky Club

BR = Board Room

The later two you should be able to get in that day with Boarding pass. If you havent seen them and the BR has soups!! They are delicious if you get in around lunch time and want a tasty snack!!

Board Room sounds like it might be good because I get in at 12:45pm, and won't be meeting Colpuck until well after 2pm.

So, if I am a PC member, flying on a CO ticket , I can have access to the Board Room?

I believe that benefit went away at the end of October sadly.

PDX is a BR that CO PClub members are allowed access.

I too was sad to loose access to the excellent CO PC's across the USA- not for the amenities, but for the beverages ^ :D As a CO PC member, you get access to both PDX and ANC Boardrooms. There are also stipulations about gaining access if on an Int'l flight in the front, but didn't write them down. In return, AS BR members have access to CO PC's in EWR, DEN and LAS... no more SEA :(

Morning Box. I'm up early to go to Columbia University to judge highschoolers giving speeches. What I've seen of this competition on YouTube is absoulutely amazing.

Something odd - there was an Oxi Clean commercial on a while ago with a woman doing Billy Mays' speech.

They switched to her the day after his death. :( On the brighterside when I last looked on their website it was a tribute to him.

Very, very, very upset. :( :mad: :(

I've been on planes with a lot of random sports figures (Bob Euker was an A$$ to a fan, but nice to me :rolleyes: ), my favorite being Scott Hamilton (I wanted to be a professional skater when I was younger). I didn't realize he was on the plane until the end of the flight - he was across the aisle and we were the only ones up front LAX-DEN. He was very sweet.

My favorite was Rodrigo Santoro from Love Actually. I have never minded less about someone reclining into me. Plus1 was right beside me, so I was good.

Scott Hamilton is on Today as we speak!!

I will take two Santoros and call me in the morning!! I don't know that I could be so maintained!!

I meet Farrah Fawcett back when I was a Webelos!! I have that picture somewhere!
