It seems that she has been at my mother's house since Sunday. My mother had fallen on Saturday and was unable to get up. My sister had called my mother's brother to check up on her and that's when she was discovered lying on the floor for 12 hours. My uncle told my sister to fly in. Why I wasn't called is beyond me since I live only one state away. My sister was also "kind" enough to inform me that Mom has been in the hospital since Monday with pneumonia. Basically the only reason that the b!tch called was because my mother is moving in with her (since her health is rapidly declining) and she is emptying her house of all of her things - I have a huge shipment of items that I need to make room for by next week. Of course I have no idea if I am receiving all of the things my mother wishes me to have. After what my sister did with my father's things, I have zero confidence in her ability to do "the right thing". Especially since she didn't think that I had the need to know that my mother was in the hospital for almost a week. Start on this soon -- many of the best trust and estate people will be in Florida next week at the same conference that I will be attending. |

My sympathies! I've made that drive; not fun. And you don't exactly have a huge selections of hotels there either (or motels for that matter).

I quizzed her about what she was sending. I have a semi list of furniture and 30 boxes of stuff. I have no idea what the stuff is, other than dishes and paintings. 2500# of stuff including a floor safe, that I have no need for.
Funny how her car is being shipped to my sister's house. Mom obviously can't drive. My daughter needs a car and it would have been a nice gesture on the b!tch's part to have sent it to us. My mom drives a Jaguar. So do you get the Jag if it comes, or does your daughter? |

They at least have a Hampton and a HIExpress right next door to each other, so I'll get bedpoints at least. :D
That's not terrible. Are those fairly new or at least renovated? |

I think Johnny Gill is still the most famous person I've sat by on a plane (but I did almost walk over Snoop in LAS).

I have been on 4 random flights (different departures and destinations) with Jim Belushi. On the last flight, I sat next to him, and I asked him if he was stalking me.

Both appeared to be new, I was there a couple months ago. Only complaint was (of course) the slow internet access. I'm sure I'll be harassing the manager daily on that one.

Something odd - there was an Oxi Clean commercial on a while ago with a woman doing Billy Mays' speech.

Only *sorta* useless famous person I sat beside was some dude on CSI- Miami (johnny something or other). He was really sweet and picked up a book I dropped. I didn't realize he was famous until a coworker on the flight gushed to me afterwards. I'm pretty much a loser when it comes to those famous folks. :) |
