Sorry you have to deal with the multiple situations there.

Please put me down for:

2x Peanut Butter Patties
2x Peanut Butter Sandwiches
2x Lemonades
4x Thin Mints

Don't yet know if I'm going to make the AUS DO, at least officially, but maybe for a box event, at least. PM me the final total and a mailing addy, and I'll get a check sent over. :)

My sympathies! I've made that drive; not fun. And you don't exactly have a huge selections of hotels there either (or motels for that matter).

Thank you very much for your order!!!! BL JR would say thanks, but she crashed a couple of hours ago:)

It seems that she has been at my mother's house since Sunday. My mother had fallen on Saturday and was unable to get up. My sister had called my mother's brother to check up on her and that's when she was discovered lying on the floor for 12 hours. My uncle told my sister to fly in. Why I wasn't called is beyond me since I live only one state away.

My sister was also "kind" enough to inform me that Mom has been in the hospital since Monday with pneumonia.

Basically the only reason that the b!tch called was because my mother is moving in with her (since her health is rapidly declining) and she is emptying her house of all of her things - I have a huge shipment of items that I need to make room for by next week.

Of course I have no idea if I am receiving all of the things my mother wishes me to have. After what my sister did with my father's things, I have zero confidence in her ability to do "the right thing". Especially since she didn't think that I had the need to know that my mother was in the hospital for almost a week.

I hate that you are going through this, particularly since I went through a horrible episode with my dad. You may need to engage counsel in the state where they are, just to be an advocate for your mom. Go to ACTEC.com and see the attorneys in teh locale where this is going on. ACTEC Fellows typically are the top in their industry.

Start on this soon -- many of the best trust and estate people will be in Florida next week at the same conference that I will be attending.

I did one and saw the Queer Eye guy..

I think Johnny Gill is still the most famous person I've sat by on a plane (but I did almost walk over Snoop in LAS).

They have a Hampton and a HIExpress right next door to each other, so I'll get bedpoints at least. :D

I quizzed her about what she was sending. I have a semi list of furniture and 30 boxes of stuff. I have no idea what the stuff is, other than dishes and paintings. 2500# of stuff including a floor safe, that I have no need for.

Funny how her car is being shipped to my sister's house. Mom obviously can't drive. My daughter needs a car and it would have been a nice gesture on the b!tch's part to have sent it to us. My mom drives a Jaguar.

Yikes. What a mess. I think the car should definitely go your way!

So do you get the Jag if it comes, or does your daughter?

Better than bedbugs

That's not terrible. Are those fairly new or at least renovated?

I have been on 4 random flights (different departures and destinations) with Jim Belushi. On the last flight, I sat next to him, and I asked him if he was stalking me. He told me (politely) to go away...

Both appeared to be new, I was there a couple months ago. Only complaint was (of course) the slow internet access. I'm sure I'll be harassing the manager daily on that one.

Perhaps he was thinking the opposite?

Unless we count the TNA wrestlers who fly SkyTeam USA out of BNA.

I know I could get slightly faster WiFi by not taking a room at the very end of the hall but avoiding noise wins over faster WiFi.

Something odd - there was an Oxi Clean commercial on a while ago with a woman doing Billy Mays' speech.

Who is Johnny Gill? Also - I didn't sit by Carson (queer eye dude) - he was in a security line just behind me. :)

Only *sorta* useless famous person I sat beside was some dude on CSI- Miami (johnny something or other). He was really sweet and picked up a book I dropped. I didn't realize he was famous until a coworker on the flight gushed to me afterwards.

I'm pretty much a loser when it comes to those famous folks. :)

He certainly has no sense of humor!
