And it's always much more fun when they're coming in (IRA rollover) rather than going out. But such is life, we get a house in exchange which is something we both want.

That's awesome. My mother made me sell candy bars and stuff on my own when I was a kid. I used to peep in people's mailboxes and then greet them by name when I came to the door.

And if BL JR is doing Girl Scout cookies, do let me know. I'm a Do-Si-Do whore and my fiancee has a thing for Carmel Delights. Teh Box will put her in the record books.

Too bad she's not offering 10 miles per dollar - now THAT would shatter some records! :D

I remember selling seedling trees, of all things, in the 3rd grade. Going up to people's houses in the neighborhood and chatting them up was fun. :) One old guy bought a tree and planted it in his front yard and I still see it and think of those days whenever I'm in town and going past that house...

Made a point to do no-touch rollovers for those ;)

Well whaddaya know. We were talking about it just a few days ago and now our wish has been granted. Marriott now shows lifetime nights on the account screen. ^

I'm further away than I thought. I still have 8:rolleyes: nights to lifetime plat. Le sigh.

10 SPG or Hyatt per dollar would be better ;)

Maybe not, but one with my name on it, yes.

Night, Box. The JFK-LAX-LHR fare is back. I just tortured myself and looked at it.

Is Not Possible for the two I did, crappy 401(k) servicers did not offer it.

Heh, given my current level of travel, I would imagine that I will be dead long before I hit the lifetime plat threshold on nights. Points are no big deal.

Don't fret, January is almost over. That means the "resolutioners" will soon fade back into the obscurity that is their couch, reruns of Friends on TBS, and a bucket of fried chicken. And we can reclaim the civility of our gym.

In the final weeks, please try and stay calm. I was frustrated at all the shenanigans last night too, but guy with the brown New Balances, you took it just a tad too far when you sprayed the sweaty nasty guy with the bottle of disinfectant because he refused to wipe down the machines after he was done. I do, however, applaud your effort at maintaining a hygienic atmosphere.

And to you Mr. Tighty-wighties in the locker-room, I guess I have to thank you for not walking around completely nude. I hate to break this to you, but your underwear revealed that either you sat in a pile of mud or you too ate at the Popeyes in Terminal B in ATL before sitting on a plane for 4 hours with a busted loo. I feel your pain sir, I really do. But please, burn the underwear.

To the gentleman who was doing "circuits of random," no, I'm not going to get out of your way because you have gym A D D and can't stay at a station for more than 20 seconds. I'm staying put for at least 5 minutes and I'm not going to let you weasel in simply because you cheer really loudly for yourself when you complete a set of 3. Even though it's very amusing.

And finally a parting word to the girl in the black sports bra. I applaud your flexibility almost as much as I applaud your wardrobe of choice. Unfortunately, you're interrupting my workout routine by attracting not only the 3 Guatemalans who were trying so hard to speak to you in broken English, but also every guy in the surrounding zip code to be within view of you, your cleavage, and your workout routine that would make Jenna Jamison blush. I really wanted to use those mats to do push-ups, unfortunately I was afraid I was going to get in the way of the crew of people building stadium-seating surrounding the mats.

Black sports bra girl, you're more than welcome to continue using our little gym, just please wait until after the resolutioners give-up to bust that little outfit out again. :-:

Yours in ,

belynch

That doesn't seem too (incredibly) bad.

I would like to motion that belynch be promoted to Belynch The Oracle™.

Ok, i'm missing it. How does one do this?!?

Done online (either a MC or Visa), and was able to pay AMEX with it. The only issue was it took about 10 days. :td:

Mackieman - I'm sorry - didn't comment on this. Hate to hear about your troubles!

First time I got ripped off online, someone had stolen my debit card info online - they ordered a bunch of porn and used my email address to confirm (too bad the mailing address was in Indonesia somewhere.). I discovered the $1000 issue myself upon receiving the confirmation email! That was BoA. Several months later they tried to use the same info again to buy car parts - I got a lovely email from the car part company asking why my payment was bad. Hmm.. it was stolen and the account was closed.. but I digress.

Second time Chase actually called me to indicate my credit card was being used in Florida while I appeared to be parked in AUS. They closed my account immediately and I was pretty impressed with that. I had no idea.

I never was "out" any money, maybe because of when it was caught, but it was still pretty scary.

Glad you got yours resolved. Sorry it took so long!! A denied card is not a pleasant way to find out about these things!

The Newborn Care course was fun, although those plastic babies were a bit creepy... This Saturday is the Breastfeeding course, I wonder what they will use???

Good night box!

I was really happy that Plus1 had been through it all before so that he could teach me on a real baby (changing diapers, bathing, etc.). I trimmed nails once and only once. After snipping part of her finger off, that duty went to Plus1.
