I just found out the reason we are going to Shanghai in may is to see the world’s expo. ^

When I was in LAS, the S/O’s boss gave me the dates to book for HKG, but told me to return from PVG. I just thought they were going to bring us to see different parts of their country. Now I am very excited.

Done online (either a MC or Visa), and was able to pay AMEX with it. The only issue was it took about 10 days. :td:

I looked on the amex site but didn't see anything. Any ideas of what to search for?

When my card number was stolen it was used at IAD, LAX, and some other city by me - France by someone else - on the same day. Wasn't suspicious to Citi.

Mackieman - I'm sorry - didn't comment on this. Hate to hear about your troubles!

I discovered the $1000 issue myself upon receiving the confirmation email! That was BoA. Several months later they tried to use the same info again to buy car parts - I got a lovely email from the car part company asking why my payment was bad. Hmm.. it was stolen and the account was closed.. but I digress.

Second time Chase actually called me to indicate my credit card was being used in Florida while I appeared to be parked in AUS. They closed my account immediately and I was pretty impressed with that. I had no idea.

I never was "out" any money, maybe because of when it was caught, but it was still pretty scary.

Glad you got yours resolved. Sorry it took so long!! A denied card is not a pleasant way to find out about these things!

Yeesh, I'd hate to have it happen multiple times. Really the biggest inconvenience has been not having a debit card. I have the Chase CO debit card so I earn miles and I use it all the time instead of carrying cash. In the mean time, I'm just using the ol Marriott Visa and paying it off out of the checking account, heh. It'll all come out in the wash, me thinks.

I will order 3 boxes of thin mints and then 2 of those peanut butter chocolate kind whatever they are called :D

I am never here to see if any GS here to take orders.

BL JR says thank you very much. She is now jumping up and down. Thank you. But now, she hasn't sold it herself. I'll let it slide ;)

I really could go for a MR in February. Any know weekend MR's out there? I say February as I really need spending money so I suspect I should take a second PT job in March, something retail nights and weekends.

That's awesome. My mother made me sell candy bars and stuff on my own when I was a kid. I used to peep in people's mailboxes and then greet them by name when I came to the door.

And if BL JR is doing Girl Scout cookies, do let me know. I'm a Do-Si-Do whore and my fiancee has a thing for Carmel Delights. Teh Box will put her in the record books.

^ to your mom. I had fun selling cookies. I don't know that the fun would have been replicated had my parents done it for me.

Caramel Delights have been her best sellers. I would have guessed thin mints, but Caramel Delights have come up on top. BL JR's favorite are the Lemonades, which she tells everyone. ;)

 I would love to catch the @#$%$@erds that are doing this to us.

I still use my debit card at some locales (not online though) and (knocks) have not run into a problem. *BUT* it is irritating to be uber paranoid about all this stuff... and yet, we can't trust anyone. Again, I trust my debit card only to a few places these days, and your post makes me want to ditch that. I think I'm all credit, all the time. Only liable for $50 that way.

Have her write up a nice little post that you could copy paste - that would work out well. :)

(and if I can't make it to Bag Do, I will be around for AUS Do. BL Jr. is set. :) )

Kroger does indeed have agave nectar. I'm happy to pick some up; how much do you need? Can you make a couple pecan free for me? Thanks!

Why? Why? Why did you have to post that? A box of Thin Mints and a box of Lemonades please. Shipping or NYC, which ever works best for you.
