The 748 is ENORMOUS. Standing under it on the factory floor is humbling.

I use to love walking under CO's 747s and DC-10s in HNL. It made the $5/hr I was making worth wild.

I want to go h:rolleyes:me.

Firefox 3.6 instant preview themes are nifty, but not too useful, looks cluttered. I did find a basic blue one I like, no images and such, its there now to sample the goods.

I'm not sold on that...in the master lounge listing on CO.com, if it belongs to a Star partner, it is named as such. The terms "Senator Lounge", "Koru Club", "KrisFlyer", etc. are all used. AS is not a Star partner, and SEA was one of the Boardrooms included in the Star transition deal.

If you look at the lounge listings the one in PRG is listed as contract. It is the Czech Airline Lounge that LH contracts with. I don't know that one would get access to the lounge without flying LH. I have heard mixed results when talking to PC people about our access at BRs. I know that Alaskan flyers have access to the DEN, LAS, and one other lounge in exchange for PC members getting access to a few BR lounges. It would be nice to get clarification on those lounges from a good source!

You and I seem to arrive at that same idea about the same time each day...

Dress shirt problem. I only have two dress shirts that have the correct size collar and I need 5 for work. Even those are baggy and make me look fatter than I am as I have a big neck. I have a nice supply of too big dress shirts.

You always get to do the fun stuff.

It is good to have friends who are connected. We walked the assembly line floor with 787s, 777s and 748s. Plus the 737 assembly line this morning that apparently doesn't do any public tours. Way too much aerogeekiness for any one guy to handle. I've had a sh!t-eating grin on my face for the past 8 hours or so. :D

Do someone take their phone on the tour?? Or are you on a "Press

I clearly need to get to SFO soon.

PDX is a BR that CO PClub members are allowed access.

Can't remember if you mentioned if this was for a specific weekend but if you're going Jan 29-31, there are L fares EWR-IAD for $111 r/t. No kidding. ^

Would spend most of the difference (and a bunch of time) getting to DCA. And would have to put up with IAD ;)
