Sounds like a parental teaching moment!! :D

(PS - This is another reason why I am glad I am not a parent!!)

Mine covers anything over $50 on calls -- if you have to pay $50 or $100 to cover those issues, get the deal closed, IMHO. The air gap on the DW is always an issue, if I may hazard a guess...

This is my thought; unless they are like, "Here's a check to cover that" I'm apt to just deal with the home warranty. The appliances are fairly, "old" (original to the house built in 2000) so it is likely that they will just cut us a check to get a new one.

Sorry I can't stick around for these milestones -- need to get sleep in order to wake up with the howler monkeys at 5am! Maybe I'll make it to the beach for sunrise!

Back to Hilton and my friends at the Waldorf Astoria Trianon Palace - I spoke of the indifferent service, room that was 83.3 degrees and rising without the heat on, poorly cleaned/maintained rooms/elevators of the Waldorf Astoria Trianon Palace (but the great Gordon Ramsay restaurants with impeccable service). I give you the two largest portions of my case:

Do not click on this carpet photo - and definitely don't click on the larger format - if you are squeamish, as I think my caption of "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot happened in my room?" is appropriate.

And quoting their website (http://www.trianonpalace.com):

Find solitude among centuries-old trees and lush, vivid gardens, newly updated by famous landscape designer Louis Benech. Experience a splendid reflection of our palatial surroundings within the sumptuous style and decor.
