That's good news! If you have any questions, PM me. My best friend is a loan maven.

I had to look up all the newfangled cookie names.

BL JR could easily win some kind of award with all the people coming out of the virtual woodwork wanting cookies.

When she went to Plus1's work to sell, she got so excited that she asked if she could hit up all the other floors. She also tried to sell to the cop at the front. I was so proud!

Plus1 did earlier this month. They said they no longer gave them out :rolleyes:

Is it making you shake and sweat a little?

"My name is BL JR and I'm a girl scout. We're selling girl scout cookies; would you like to buy some.

These are the flavors:

Thin Mints
Shortbread
Peanut Butter patties
Peanut butter sandwhich
Lemonades (which are my favorite)
Caramel Delights (my best seller)
Thanks a lot (shortbread and chocolate)
Daisy Go rounds (in 5 convenient 100 calorie packs)

Thank you for ordering my Girl Scout cookies"

That's her spiel. :)

Will there be samples out weekend after next? I have not tasted these things in a long time and certainly would need to see which I liked the best before buying. :D

If so, I will find a suitable Spaetlese or Vendange Tardif (or even a sec with bubbles) that would serve as a pleasant accompaniment. :p

Indeed; thankfully we have good people on our team who aren't out just to make a buck of us. It really has made things a lot easier to deal with, knowing we have someone fighting for us.

Not really, I knew it was coming. It actually gives me some comfort to know that the figures I had in my head are coming to fruition. I am a man of simple means so I still go :eek: when dealing with any substantial sum of money.

Heh, given my current level of travel, I would imagine that I will be dead long before I hit the lifetime plat threshold on nights. Points are no big deal.

I am hopeful I'll hit it by the end of the year. I at least have to have 75, so . . .might as well get the other 5 in. Of course, my next two trips are SPG!

For those under the old naming schema:
Samoas -> Caramel DeLites
Do-Si-Dos -> Peanut Butter Sandwiches
Tagalongs -> Peanut Butter Patties
Trefoils -> Shortbreads

No, but I thought I only had about 10 left to get there.

I'm getting ready to say goodbye to the landline/VOIP line altogether. We just got a cordless phone system that lets my wife and I pair our cellphones via BT and then use regular handsets around the house for inbound/outbound calls. Works great since we can't reliably hold a 3G signal in our basement. <$100 for the base + 4 handsets at Costco.

My only gripe so far is that while my iPhone will automatically find the base station when I come back home, my wife's Blackjack doesn't automatically re-establish the connection.
