How come your shifts don't rotate every 4 months? That would be alittle easier to tolerate.

We rotate every 12 weeks. I like that better than every 4 month because then I might get stuck working midnights every summer :td:

Wow -- I am very impressed!;)

To be fair, it does help that our daughter is only 18 months old, so her clothes barely take up any space. @:-)

One of the downsides of being a fairly big guy. In the winter, packing for a 5-day business trip with a set of workout clothes stretches the limits of a 22" rollaboard. My wife and daughter can pack for 5 days in the same space.

I am a fairly big guy (vertically) and I do great with my 22” rollaboard for a week long trip.

Palindrome post #32323.

I woke up an hour early for my 4am alarm from a dream that I was in a car to JFK and the guy went to GA instead of the UA terminal and I missed my flight. No, I'm not nervous about that at all.

On the plus side, it is like I'm just out late in Hawaii right now. Plenty of time to sleep on the EWR-SFO flight this morning. At T-2:15 to departure there are 8 lie-flat Y seats still available. Here's hoping...

Pretty much unheard of in the NHL at any position.

Lou gets more than the benefit of any doubt and, having seen Washington a couple of times this year, I could be among the doubters.

But the Canadiens of the late 70's showed me what the experienced team can do, locking down the Cup year after year while the young team with more talent (LI in that case) struggles to learn how to win in May.

And we will not worry about Marty losing it until he shows some signs of losing it.

At the Oasis lounge waiting for the departure of my Copa flight to PTY. Although a tad worn, the lounge is quite nice, and has a homely feel to it, living room and all.

My upgrade came through beforehand on JFK-PTY, but PTY-MEX looks like a lost cause. Oh well, at least I have an exit row seat.

I am awake and getting ready to drive over to Princeton Junction for a 5:10 am train.

Why...

I'm in my car on the way to EWR. Tunnel traffic at the Holland Tunnel this morning for some reason. Not helping me get to the airport at all. :td:

I thought only East Siders drove to EWR and all West Siders took some sort of public transpo. ;)

Much as I would prefer to fly CO and the *A , the unpredictability of the tunnels is what caused me to move most of my business to LGA after we moved our office out of NJ. It is just too easy to get to the LI airports (even JFK if you go at the right time) from our side of town.

I normally take the train but for a 6am departure the train schedule is pretty poor, especially with the limited AirTrain service late nights.

The traffic moved well enough and I was in the gate area 45 minutes after walking out my front door, including getting breakfast at the BK outside security.

I'm pretty sure I've secured lie-flat Y for the EWR-SFO flight this morning. I'm very happy about that as I plan to go back to sleep.
