30 min to flight time down in the CoCo basement of Terminal C. The 7:30 flight is full, the 8:30 is wide open, and snow isn't supposed to be a problem till close to noon. The GA said they *might* need a bump volunteer but can't say for sure yet.
Here's hoping my lifetime string of luck changes. :p |
Hello from Miami (where I forgot the Super Bowl was also). US cancelled my flight this afternoon but hasn't bothered to tell me yet. I rearranged my schedule to get out earlier and have a seat on the afternoon AA flight home, which is still going as of now, so I am hopeful I will not be stuck in Florida for the weekend.
If I am stuck here, I would briefly ponder (Box History Channel update) helping xyzzy's friend with the Super Bowl tickets but something strikes me as wrong about spending more than my monthly mortgage payment on a ticket to a football game. I am 40 pages behind in the Box but do want to add my congratulations to Copa. Good luck to all who are traveling today (including me). |

Safe travels to all who are heading up in the air this weekend. Looks like there will be much :rolleyes: on the East coast. |
We are quite happy to have made arrangements to detour to IAH after work today instead of having scheduled ourselves to come directly home to NY.
With luck, all of the streets will have been plowed by the time that we get there Monday. We hope all who need to travel in that part of the country take care and be safe. |
