For the places that do have cars, the rates are ridiculous. I wanted to rent from National so I could use a free day. Hopefully they'll come up with some more cars in the coming days. :)

About a week and a half from now. It never even occurred to me that this may be related to the Olympics. I checked a few days ago, and they had cars available in many categories - I should have grabbed something at that time.

Avis looked hideous as well - I might recommend a neighborhood location or Enterprise (I hold a $16 a day reservation with the latter).

My long drive tomorrow looks to be about an hour (hotel near BNA for an early Saturday flight).

I only need the car for about 8 hours, so a neighborhood location isn't much of an option. The cheapest option at Enterprise right now is $131 for a pickup. :(

I might need to scrap this trip...

Yeah, I had the pleasure of standing right behind him in the elite boarding line as he yucked it up with constituents and other politicos. Then, he stood in the aisle for about 30 minutes during the ight talking to the politicians. This was a CR9, btw.

The driving / parking arrangements are the reason I'm taking Amtrak to YVR - I'm also considering canceling the car and relying solely on mass-transit, Amtrak, and hotel shuttles. Parking costs could definitely be

Good night all.

When flew EWR-SEA in November, I think it was a 6PM departure we had printed menus and sundaes.
