Now that the PWP has simmered down, does anyone know if EWR-SNA is transcon service with printed menus and sundaes? This link says no, but I thought I flew this flight last year and received yummeh ice cream.

My other standby is Fujitsu and Hitachi, though they are a bit harder to find, but always solid. |

Thanks. I knew it didn't go to EWR, but even putting in Newark Penn Station it spits out all NJ Transit routes with two subway transfers.
Right now my plan is to go IAH-LGA/EWR-IAH but I may just change it to all LGA. |

TGIF Box. Super weekend.

Arrived at MSP this morning to find 45+-minute security lines at the main terminal, so I took the tram over to the Skyway security checkpoint, where there was literally no one in line. it took all of five minutes to get there from the main ticketing area. Doesn't anyone in this town know about that checkpoint? Or, they must just enjoy waiting in long TSA lines. No elite lines, either, from what I saw.

It is supposed to be transcon service. I'm not sure why the link excludes it, but everytime I've flown it i've gotten the full treatment.

Generally, it's either Seagate or WD that's good. I learned a while back that there is a core set of engineers who get lured back and forth every few years. Currently they are at WD.

There is an Elite security line at the checkpoint to the right of the CO counters (past the crew checkpoint) but it's short and feeds right in to the normal line, so I'm not sure it is worth much most of the time. I have had plenty of success with using the crew checkpoint as well. :D |
Aloha, Box. Sorry to steal your tagline, belynch, but I'm at the Aloft IAD - what else am I supposed to say? ;)
I like Alofts (then again, I like W's, so it makes sense). Would take one over a "regular" Sheraton any day - and they're often cheaper, especially at airports. Anyway, I now especially like this one because I received my first ever "amenity gift" as a lowly SPG Gold! Wow!! It's nothing super-fancy, but the thought is very much appreciated - toothbrush/toothpaste (always useful), energy drink (I can definitely pass that off to someone who will want it this weekend), and a BATHROBE (now that's pretty cool). And a handwritten note from the GM. Way to go. ^
