Apparently I have become good at avoiding the bad weather. Well except for the days I moved! sounds like my new home state is a mess. My venue for work this week looks awesome. once it is fully set up I will send ya pictures! Perfect view of the ocen with the 3rd Fairway of Peble Beach as the lower half of the view!

You'll get nice things from time-to-time - free internet on all stays, a Platinum Extra every three stays, and bonus points on room rates - but it's just marginally more than a base member.

They extended my benefits for another year.. but since I've only stayed once it's kinda pointless.

Depending on how you value Starpoints, it could be considered the best of the low-level hotel statuses.

Yes, I realize that this is pretty faint praise.
