It seems from some stories I've heard that Rutgers is a great campus for shenanigans. Recall the guy I was deployed to Saudi with who bought the hookahs and flipped them to RU stoners.

RU New Brunswick is a weird place. It's actually 4 separate campus in two towns with a river running between them.

But I would never eat there... I'll stick to Papaya Dog. ^

Let me help you!

Are you coming to the Conde Nast event on Feb 1?

My crystal ball predicts that day will be 1 February.

Sadly I don't think you'll get very far if that's all you have to go by.

For years, when I booked flights through the agent with a combo UA/CO itin, it would say i was earning 100% on the UA segments -- this is before CO entered Star.

Now, if the mileage chart said you were earning 100%, that's a different issue, but never go by what the itin says.

Yes and no. We know that is the case from the history with DL/NW code-share flights and other experiences. But that shouldn't exempt CO from being held responsible for stupid errors in their website. They've known about this issue for YEARS and haven't bothered to fix it yet. Why should we be the ones who get hosed for their inability to consistently present the information correctly?

That being said, I've gone on record many time in threads out in the main forum about this that folks are likely to get the full credit if they raise a stink but that the official policy is based on what is on the partner earning page, not the reservations screens.

This is the details covered by the * fine print on the reservations page:

*Miles shown are the actual miles flown for this segment. Fare class, Elite Qualification Miles and other promotional bonuses are not included in the total miles shown. OnePass miles are not awarded for travel on airlines that are not OnePass partners (and note that for travel after Oct. 24, 2009, OnePass miles will not be awarded on current SkyTeam Alliance members, other than Copa Airlines). Miles indicated for non-partner flights or flight segments will not be awarded. OnePass miles earned will vary depending on the Elite status of the customer.
Based on that there is no reason to believe that the numbers are inaccurate.

If I ever had to cross a river to get from one class to another, that's when I start looking for a new college.

RU has its own rather elaborate bus system.
