My plan is to do the UA PS flights at least once... I'm thinking of buying JFK-SFO//LAX-JFK for the lines.

May even try to throw some weird segments in there (SFO-SBA or SFO-MRY).

I did a bunch of same day PS flights last year to SFO.

I do the eggs scrambled or an omelet but understand completely.

Of course, I do miss having the "god permit" which would allow me to park anywhere on any campus, including tow-away zones, and not have an issue. Those were the days.

Responding to a bomb threat once, I parked and abandoned my car in a crosswalk with impunity to help set the perimeter.

You can make a fair number of dishes without butter, milk or cheese. As long as you have onions, cooking oil and tomatoes, you have a lot to work with.

oh i know, but my favs have butter, milk, cheese or yogurt in them :)

You CAN make a good masala without yogurt, it just has a different texture.

Hey, it came in very handy when I had to go to class... at least for the days i decided to go. :)

It seems from some stories I've heard that Rutgers is a great campus for shenanigans. Recall the guy I was deployed to Saudi with who bought the hookahs and flipped them to RU stoners.

That place is still open? Wow. I went there probably 15 or 16 years ago with my wife, her sister, and her sister's husband. (My brother-in-law keeps kosher, but is willing to eat vegetables in non-kosher restaurants.)

Well, we've been together for 7+ years and have been through a lot so a dietary change isn't going to send me to the door. :p Gobo is on our list of places to try as is The Candle Cafe on (I think) the upper east side. We've also been to Zen Palate (midtown on the west side) a few times and liked it too.

We had a mini-DO at Gobo a year or two ago. People either loved it or hated it. There was no in-between.

No. No complimentary upgrades on PS at all, even for UA elites.

Gobo is on my block. :-:

But I would never eat there... I'll stick to Papaya Dog. ^

I was just simply pointing out that 50% earning on some fares is nothing new on any airline, if you look at the MR deals, that is the first thing that people point out for their respective program they want to credit when a deal is posted.

I can agree with that until you start down that slippery slope of thought... well if one part of the website is wrong then another may be wrong... I think if you say one will get credit you give credit. If you dont trust that your IT department can properly but things on the website then dont post that information for some or all flights.

Rant Off.... i will see what my insider says and leave it at that and make sure to double check all future flights that are code shows. I am now more away of having to second guess what information is given to me when buying a ticket.
