If you're a snorkeler, go in on the tiny beach on the east side of the condos - out near the rocks on the corner of the L, sea turtles make periodic appearances. That's where I met these guys:

I finally got a hit on the very last place I looked. Paid a little more than I was hoping to pay ($1700/wk all-in), and ended up in one of the east-facing units, but it was still well worth it. My Plan B was a place on the water in Kapa'a, but it's too busy over there.
