Best Scottish holiday, ever. I spent many a January 25 drinking plenty of whisky next to a roaring fire, until I'd had enough whisky to down a haggis.

Yummy! Haggis! Mmmmmm! Love it.

Hmmmm....now homemade scrapple might be something I'd be willing to try. I guess if we get our resident CO pilot who "works hard & flies on the right" to fly us somewhere to have a FT get-together to try out your recepie, we'd have to call it:

drumroll please..........

Doobie DO & scrapple too

:p

Considering I love scrapple (rural MD showing through), I could try haggis.

I don't think scrapple compares to haggis.;) Especially if you make the scrapple yourself and know what you're putting in there.:D

Thanks everyone. Almost ready to really start melting it off once my fatness is of a sufficiently low degree for Wii Fit.

I need do nothing else than reference Ron White's comments on vegetarians.

A story from last week. Thursday night I was wearing my suit for the big Toastmasters meeting as I was Toastmasters and we had a theme about communication during transition so I dressed for it. The next night I was a last second replacement at another club's meeting and was dressed normal. There was a guest at my clubs meeting at the Friday meeting. He didn't recognize me as I looked so different. He said "You looked like someone important last night. Tonight you look like a regular schlub."

Great shirt and tie/suit combo. ^^

I like looking like a regular schlub. In fact, there are two FAILs in my faculty photo (wearing a tie and using the top button).

Some accursed Englishman has taken liberties with the Burns Night entry on Wikipedia

That must be why Scotsmen regularly spit on the Queen's Stone in Edinburgh.
