Got a call yesterday from UA - they've already changed my schedule for the BD run in May. In no hurry to call them back :D

I think a bird just flew and hit my office window. Thump.

Hi, all - would like to happily report that I made it home to NJ with no issues this afternoon. CO 2006 IAD-EWR left on time at 1:35 pm (and yes, I did make a 5 minute visit to the LH lounge right when it opened to perform a quick raid on the snacks ;)). It was a rather bumpy trek from the gate to the runway, but after that, no issues.

And apparently another round of blizzard is on its way...

Thank you all for your helpful suggestions - everything worked out great in the end. I still have yet to fly in or out of DCA, a fact that I thought would get remedied this weekend, but we'll have to save that joy for next time. :)

Also, after an all time high of 102 degrees last night (a delirious misery which I wish upon no one), I woke up this morning with a temperature LOWER than normal, and feeling just fine other than being a little tired and coughing a bit. If there is such a thing as the 24-hour flu, I think I may have just had it.

And, for the first time since August 2008, I have no future flights booked. :td:

How does one play the blizzard with an impending job interview? Wait for them to reschedule?

How close is the interview to one of your home locations?

You could fix that with a fully-refundable HUP ;)

What happened to NW miles when DL bought them out? Would it prudent to start hoarding UA miles in preparation if CO bought them out?

I've just about gone through all CO offers, and am wondering which program I should start up next.

40 minutes from the one near PHL; just short of two hours from the Shore.

We had some London broil leftovers tonight. I have already informed my fiancee that she is without a choice tomorrow morning: breakfast fajitas. Leftover steak with a scrambled egg and cheese laid on top with ketchup and Cholula.
