Thanks. It was not unexpected as she had been sick for at least a year and was deteriorating over the past month. However, it is always a shock to lose someone you knew for almost 40 years.

I caught grief for buying a B fare (which we're supposed to buy) and having it insta-upgrade into F. This was only because co.com shows the receipt as purchasing into the F cabin.

It is easier to have a more flexible travel policy with a smaller organization, that's for sure. Fortunately, as we have grown, we have maintained ties with a small local agency rather than switching to one of the behemoths.
