It's so bad that a few times he has asked me to hand over my BlackBerry or Android handset to make a call when we're together and he can't get his iPhone to connect, or it is repreatedly dropping the call. The iPhone is great for a lot of things, but it really does suck as a phone. |

I am really glad that I have a sensible builder! Even though I was moaning and groaning that he didn't seem to be making progress, doing backfill, etc. I am so glad he knows his onions. Another builder is building a house around the block from me. He had constructed teh basement using cement block and he backfilled last week. On Thursday, the entire basement collapsed under the weight of the soil and melting snow. :eek::eek::eek: I am so so so glad that my builder stuck to his guns and told me no when I was pestering him to begin backfilling.... as Mr. Brit said.... "that's why we're paying him teh big bucks - he's making the right decisions despite your ranting and raving at him " ...:D |
